I am Jennifer Joffe, founder of Project Healthy Body. 

I was overweight my entire life — sometimes only 15 to 20 pounds, but often much more. I spent hours fantasizing about how my life would be perfect, if only I were thin. Someday, one day, I’ll start Monday — I lived everywhere but in the present with myself. I loved everyone but myself. 

I was my own worst enemy, and this cycle went on for years.

Until one day, when I almost fainted carrying my daughter up the stairs.

When I put her down, I walked into my bathroom, looked in the mirror, and gave up skinny. I’d chased skinny for 30-plus years, and all I did was get fatter, sicker, and more exhausted. 

I decided, fat or not, I needed to be healthy so I could just feel better. I needed to take care of myself, and that’s when my life changed. 

I poured my mind, body, and soul into learning how to become a Healthy Person. I’ve lost over 100 pounds, I’ve kept it off, but the weight loss is the byproduct of my self-care. I am engaged in my moments, I am healthy, and thriving!

  • Connection

    The PHB Network is our private, online hub for 24/7 support. Here, you’ll find all of your class materials, and you can also interact with other PHB members and coaches. New discussion topics are added daily to keep you engaged on your health journey. While the platform may resemble social media at first glance, it is nothing like you have experienced. This is a space for vulnerability, honesty, authenticity, and accountability. A place to show up imperfectly, to be seen, and to see others. As we are.

  • Support

    Every woman in this thriving community has been where you are. No two journeys are the same, but we understand the unrelenting battle with food, body image, control issues, and having our worth tied up in it all. When you join PHB, you’ll be assigned to a Coach and placed in a group. Each week, you’ll have a one-hour group call to dive into that week’s lesson, receive laser-focused coaching, and support your fellow group members.

  • Education

    Between coaching calls, you’ll have recorded curriculum from PHB Founder Jennifer Joffe. Supplementing this will be assignments designed to help you explore your habits, your relationship with food, and negative-self talk. Handouts, videos, podcasts, and other handpicked materials help you stay empowered on your path to better health. Homework keeps you engaged in building your Health Practice and accountable to your PHB group! We work together, learning from one another.

  • Accountability

    Steps. Stats. Homework. Each week you will participate in the PHB Fitbit hustle challenges. All PHB members work toward 10K steps per day, focusing on progress.. It’s not a competition — just a way to maintain healthy movement and stay accountable to your health goals! Stats: While your numbers stay between you and your coach, overall gain and loss is discussed on the calls so that we can encourage what is working and troubleshoot challenges.
